{"id":154051,"date":"2023-01-16T18:49:52","date_gmt":"2023-01-16T18:49:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.techweekmag.com\/?p=154051"},"modified":"2024-03-17T18:01:29","modified_gmt":"2024-03-17T18:01:29","slug":"mcl-905-mclaren-edition-awesome-collaboration-between-klipsch-and-mclaren","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.stereoindex.com\/tech\/speakers\/mcl-905-mclaren-edition-awesome-collaboration-between-klipsch-and-mclaren\/","title":{"rendered":"MCL-905 McLaren Edition: Awesome collaboration between Klipsch and McLaren"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>McLaren\u00a0and\u00a0Klipsch\u00a0are expanding their partnership with the limited edition\u00a0MCL-905 McLaren Edition\u00a0loudspeakers\u00a0in McLaren racing team colors.\u00a0The collaboration between the two legendary brands began with the release of the limited edition\u00a0Klipsch T5 II True Wireless ANC McLaren Edition\u00a0TWS headphones .\u00a0Later\u00a0Klipsch The Fives McLaren Edition\u00a0active monitors and more recently the\u00a0Klipsch Groove McLaren Edition\u00a0portable BT speaker were introduced .\u00a0And now the turn has come to full-size acoustics of the highest class.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.stereoindex.com\/tech\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/182_techweek.jpg\" alt=\"Image\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The Klipsch MCL-905 McLaren Edition two-way loudspeakers are equipped with a K-691 compression tweeter with a 3-inch titanium dome, working in a proprietary Tractrix horn, providing a large and balanced soundstage.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.stereoindex.com\/tech\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/183_techweek.jpg\" alt=\"Image\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The low-frequency range is served by two 15-inch K45 drivers with composite cones.\u00a0The manufacturer declares the lower cut-off frequency at 32 Hz.\u00a0The speakers come with removable protective metal mesh grills.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.stereoindex.com\/tech\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/184_techweek.jpg\" alt=\"Image\" \/><\/p>\n<p>McLaren&#8217;s sporty motives are reflected not only in the brand&#8217;s orange (papaya) color of the racing team, used in the finishing of individual elements of the acoustic systems.\u00a0For the Klipsch MCL-905 McLaren Edition, the bracket for the high-frequency module has been redesigned &#8211;
