\"Image\"Recall that the company\u00a0Steinway\u00a0<\/b>Lyngdorf<\/b>\u00a0(official name\u00a0SL\u00a0<\/i>Audio\u00a0<\/i>A \/\u00a0<\/i>S<\/i>\u00a0) was the result of a collaboration between the famous American manufacturer of concert pianos\u00a0Steinway &\u00a0<\/b>Sons<\/b>\u00a0and the Danish audio studio\u00a0Lyngdorf\u00a0<\/b>Audio<\/b>\u00a0.\u00a0And Steinway &\u00a0<\/b>Sons\u00a0<\/b>Model\u00a0<\/b>D<\/b>\u00a0loudspeakers\u00a0had to demonstrate the full benefits of this cooperation.\u00a0The developers of this model set themselves a very ambitious goal – to create speakers capable of reproducing the sound of a Steinway & Sons concert grand piano in such a way that even professional pianists could not determine the substitution.<\/p>\n

\"Image\"Steinway & Sons Model D loudspeakers are equipped with four large low-frequency drivers, a pair of midrange drivers and a ribbon tweeter, which work in an open acoustic design.\u00a0The structure is based on a solid aluminum frame, lacquered in bronze and gold, which resembles a grand piano, and supported by piano lacquer panels, the same as Steinway & Sons’ famous grand pianos.<\/p>\n

Each Steinway & Sons Model D speaker is equipped with two 400W class D amplifiers, as well as a DSP-based active crossover, including the Lyngdorf RoomPerfect Calibritaion automatic sound calibration system.<\/p>\n
