At\u00a0CES 2023<\/i>\u00a0next January,\u00a0Klipsch will unveil\u00a0<\/b>The\u00a0<\/b>Nines<\/b>\u00a0and\u00a0The\u00a0<\/b>Sevens<\/b>\u00a0high-resolution active monitors\u00a0.\u00a0\u00a0We have already talked in detail\u00a0about the junior models of this line of the well-known American manufacturer\u00a0The Fives\u00a0\u00a0and\u00a0The Sixes .\u00a0The Sevens and The Nines models are larger and more powerful, but they also support high-resolution audio playback.<\/p>\n

The Sevens and The Nines active monitors are made in a two-band concept with separate amplification per band.\u00a0The novelties are equipped with an inch titanium tweeter in the proprietary Tractrix horn.\u00a0In the bigger model The Nines, the high-frequency driver is supplemented by a long-throw driver with a composite cone with a diameter of 8 inches, working in a phase-inverted acoustic design. The amplifiers operate in class D and develop 30 watts for the tweeter and 100 watts for the low-frequency driver.\u00a0The Nines has an operating range of 40Hz to 25kHz, up to 115dB SPL, and a single monitor measures 337 x 480 x 240mm (W x H x D).\u00a0The junior model of The Sevens is equipped with a speaker with a diameter of 6.5 inches, a swinging amplifier with a power of 80 watts.\u00a0Sound pressure can reach up to 112 dB, one monitor has dimensions of 272 x 403 x 203 mm (W x H x D).<\/p>\n

The Sevens and The Nines active speakers are equipped with a Bluetooth 5.0 adapter with support for the aptX codec.\u00a0In addition, the novelties are capable of receiving a digital stream, for which a USB-B port and an optical input are provided.\u00a0There is also an\u00a0HDMI ARC\u00a0port \u00a0for connecting a TV.\u00a0At the same time, monitors are capable of decoding digital audio with a resolution of up to 24 bit \/ 192 kHz.\u00a0Analog switching is provided by a line input on a 3.5 mm minijack connector, as well as an input on RCA connectors, which can be switched from line mode to MM phono stage input mode.\u00a0There is also an analog output for connecting an active subwoofer.<\/p>\n

To control the monitors, you can use the proprietary Klipsch Connect application, which allows you to adjust the equalizer and subwoofer settings, activate dynamic bass, night mode, manage firmware updates and much more.<\/p>\n
