The Spanish portal Areajugones, which at one time predicted several monthly PS Plus collections and DualSense color controllers,\u00a0spoke\u00a0about the forthcoming announcement of a remake of Konami’s cult stealth action Metal Gear Solid.<\/p>\n

According to an anonymous source from Areajugones, a reimagining of the original MGS has been in the works for several years and is slated for a\u00a0“pretty soon”<\/em>\u00a0announcement, but perhaps not at the upcoming The Game Awards 2022.<\/p>\n

Who is working on the remake and when to wait for its release, Areajugones did not say, but noted that the updated version is being prepared exclusively for PS5.\u00a0Whether this exclusivity is full-fledged or temporary is also not specified.<\/p>\n
