Solid shielding of the disk transport and power supply draws attention, which should minimize electromagnetic interference to the audio part.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.stereoindex.com\/tech\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/15_techweek.jpg\" alt=\"Image\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In addition to Ultra HD Blu-ray discs, the Magnetar UDP800 is ready to play 3D Blu-ray, Blu-ray and DVD.\u00a0Audio formats include SACD, CD and DVD-Audio.\u00a0The manufacturer declares support for video with extended dynamic range Dolby Vision and HDR10+.\u00a0Dolby Atmos and DTS:X soundtracks are supported.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.stereoindex.com\/tech\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/16_techweek.jpg\" alt=\"Image\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The Magnetar UDP800 UHD player is equipped with two HDMI outputs for separate audio streaming.\u00a0The analog outputs are stereo only &#8211; balanced on XLR and unbalanced on RCA.\u00a0There are also digital audio outputs &#8211; coaxial S \/ PDIF and optical Toslink.\u00a0Two USB-A version 3.0 ports (one located on the front of the player) allow you to connect external drives.\u00a0For integration into a home computer network, a gigabit Ethernet RJ45 port is provided.<\/p>\n<p>As with models from Block and Reavon, there is no information yet regarding the ability to play back over the network and from external drives Ultra HD Blu-ray and Blu-ray disc images &#8211; both in files and in the directory structure.<\/p>\n<p><b>The Magnetar UDP800<\/b>\u00a0UHD player\u00a0<b>is<\/b>\u00a0already on sale for\u00a0<b>\u20ac1,699<\/b>\u00a0.\u00a0Recall that the Block HD-120 player will cost 100 euros more.<\/p>\n<p>[ratemypost]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>After a rather long break from the moment OPPO and Pioneer left the scene in this segment of equipment, interrupted by the appearance of two models from Reavon\u00a0, now the ultimate disk video players have fallen like a cornucopia.
