ZTE has unveiled a special version of its flagship smartphone Axon 40 Ultra – Axon 40 Ultra Space Edition. The smartphone from the original version is distinguished by a more premium appearance, as well as the presence of 18 GB of RAM and 1 TB of permanent memory.<\/p>\n

The design of the Axon 40 Ultra Space Edition has changed somewhat from the original Axon 40 Ultra released\u00a0in May this year\u00a0.\u00a0In the “space” version, the back is made of black ceramic.\u00a0The company has also changed the look of the main camera island of the device.\u00a0Now it smoothly goes directly into the body of the smartphone.<\/p>\n

Like the regular version, Axon 40 Ultra Space Edition is equipped with a special security chip developed by ZTE.\u00a0The manufacturer claims that the device has received three international certificates related to data security and privacy.<\/p>\n

In technical terms, the Space Edition is no different from the regular Ultra version.\u00a0The smartphone is equipped with a 6.8-inch AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz.\u00a0It has a maximum brightness of 1500 cd\/m2\u00a0and<\/sup>\u00a0100% coverage of the DCI-P3 color space.<\/p>\n

Under the screen of the device is a 16-megapixel camera.\u00a0The basis of the smartphone is the flagship platform of the previous generation Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1.<\/p>\n

The main camera block consists of three 64-megapixel sensors.\u00a0Sony IM787 main sensor with f\/1.6 optics and 35mm focal length supports OIS and omnidirectional autofocus.\u00a0An ultra-wide-angle module based on the same Sony IM787 has an aperture of f \/ 2.35 and supports autofocus, thanks to which the smartphone can take macro shots from a distance of 4 cm. The third module was a periscope telephoto lens with f \/ 3.5 aperture, a focal length of 91 mm and support for optical stabilization.<\/p>\n

The device is powered by a 5000 mAh battery.\u00a0The package includes a 80W fast charger.<\/p>\n

The Axon 40 Ultra Space Edition is already being pre-ordered in China. The smartphone is offered in two configurations: with 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of permanent memory for $825, and with 18 GB of RAM and 1 TB of permanent memory for $1075.
