The\u00a0Aprilia eSR1\u00a0is one of the most affordable electric scooters from Aprilia, a renowned Italian brand in the electric mobility sector.\u00a0Going into details, this is a scooter with an unmistakably sporty design and DNA, but oriented towards the entry-level range.\u00a0Its offer revolves around a 350W motor and a 281Wh removable battery that deliver a speed of 25 kilometers per hour and a range of 25KM, respectively.\u00a0In addition, it consists of 10-inch tires and a large LED screen.<\/p>\n

A design with sports DNA<\/h2>\n

Without a doubt, the Aprilia eSR1 is an electric scooter that will not leave anyone indifferent, that\u00a0sporty black look with red and gray accents\u00a0will surely attract the attention of more than one.\u00a0Also, its aggressive design is not just there to brag, as the chassis is made from a\u00a0magnesium alloy\u00a0that gives it impact resistance and lightness, weighing no more than\u00a015.5 kilograms\u00a0.\u00a0As if that were not enough, the handling of the wiring is another success, since they barely protrude from the chassis or the tube.<\/p>\n

Naturally, the eSR1 exhibits a\u00a0folding design\u00a0that helps us to store and carry the scooter in hand, something very convenient that cannot be missing in any self-respecting electric scooter.\u00a0However, this is not the only convenient detail that we will see in this product;\u00a0the battery keeps an ace up its sleeve.<\/p>\n

Changing the subject a bit, the scooter rides on\u00a010-inch tubeless tires\u00a0.\u00a0These wheels are tubeless and therefore more resistant to punctures than the average.\u00a0In addition, they guarantee good traction and stability even on uneven roads.<\/p>\n

Having said that, it is a performance totally in line with the road laws in Europe for this type of vehicle, so it will not be necessary to homologate it or anything like that.\u00a0Additionally, it supports 3 modes that impact scrolling speed;\u00a0these are\u00a0Eco (6km\/h), standard (20km\/h) and Sport (25KM\/h).\u00a0Similarly, we understand that it is possible to remove the speed limits to go beyond 25km\/h, something that we obviously discourage, but that speaks positively about the level of power that this scooter offers.<\/p>\n

In another vein, the scooter has\u00a0mechanical disc brakes on the rear wheel\u00a0, while the front wheel has regenerative braking, thus helping to preserve battery power when stopping.<\/p>\n

Unlike the Aprilia eSR2, we can’t say it’s equipped with suspension, which is a shame, but something we could see coming given the price tag.\u00a0What we cannot easily ignore is the fact that it is not compatible with the manufacturer’s mobile application either, something that is present in the eSR2.<\/p>\n

Despite these details, the Aprilia eSR1 is established as an excellent option for urban commuting within its respective price range, which should be added is quite affordable (approximately 500 euros).<\/p>\n

Autonomy<\/h2>\n

The Aprilia eSR1 is powered by a removable\u00a036V\/7.8Ah battery,\u00a0which theoretically provides rides of up to\u00a025 kilometers at best\u00a0.\u00a0As always, the actual figure depends on many factors, mainly speed, driver weight, temperature and road conditions.<\/p>\n

The range of electric travel passes without pain or glory, but the consolation is that, having a\u00a0removable battery design\u00a0(which requires a key), it makes the process of recharging and replacing it easy, as well as enabling the option of taking a spare battery with us to continue using the scooter, or at least that is what the manufacturer recommends.\u00a0Finally, the recharge time is about 4 hours.<\/p>\n
