MediaTek has announced the Pentonic 700 processor for premium smart TVs.\u00a0<\/span>The product is endowed with a number of intelligent technologies to improve image quality.<\/span><\/p>\n

The chip is designed to create 4K TV panels (3840 \u00d7 2160 pixels) with a refresh rate of 120 Hz.\u00a0In games, the formation of 4K images with a refresh rate of 144 Hz is allowed.<\/span><\/p>\n

It is based on four Arm Cortex-A73 cores clocked at up to 1.4 GHz and an Arm Mali-G52 MC1 graphics accelerator. Implemented support for DDR4-3200 RAM, eMMC 5.1 flash memory, HDMI 2.1, USB 3.2 Gen-1 and USB 2.0 interfaces.<\/span><\/p>\n

The processor includes a block of artificial intelligence MediaTek AI.\u00a0The AI-Super Resolution 2.0, AI-Picture Quality Scene Recognition 2.0 and AI-Picture Quality Object Recognition 2.5 systems are responsible for increasing the detail and optimizing the parameters.<\/span><\/p>\n

Hardware decoding of HEVC (H.265), VVC (H.266), AV1 and AVS3 materials is possible.\u00a0Support for HDR standards Dolby Vision IQ, BBC HLG, HDR10, HDR10 + \/ 10 + Adaptive \/ Gaming, as well as Dolby Atmos, DTS Master HD, DTS Virtual X and MPEG-H Audio are mentioned.\u00a0The processor can be used in tandem with a MediaTek Filogic Wi-Fi 6, Wi-Fi 6E or Wi-Fi 7 wireless chip.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
