The Musical Fidelity M6x DAC is based on the ES9038Q2M dual differential chipset.\u00a0It was able to achieve a total correlated jitter of <12 picoseconds peak-to-peak, with “zero” linearity ranging from 4dB to -130dB, and channel separation better than 130dB at 10kHz at 0dBFS.\u00a0Accordingly, the signal-to-noise ratio is > 120 dB “A” – 1 kHz average at 0dBFS, and the amount of total harmonic distortion is < 0.0005% at 1 kHz @ 0dBFS.<\/p>\n

Connectivity \u2013 1x coaxial, 2x optical, 1x AES\/EBU with stereo PCM + MQA support, and 1x USB Audio Class 2.0, plus “USB B” operating up to 32bit 768kHz (stereo PCM + MQA) or DSD 256 (stereo DoP) ) and DSD512 (native).\u00a0Analog outputs – 1 pair of RCA line connectors and 1 pair of fixed\/variable level XLR connectors.\u00a0The on-board headphone amplifier at 1.5 watts per channel (into 32 ohms) provides < 0.005% THD at 1 kHz at 0 dBFS.<\/p>\n
