Schiit Audio\u00a0introduced the\u00a0Mani 2 phono stage. The novelty has become the successor to the\u00a0Mani\u00a0model , which has been produced since 2014.\u00a0Schiit characteristics: The signal-to-noise ratio has improved by 15 dB compared to its predecessor.<\/p>\n

The main efforts in creating new items were aimed at reducing the signal path.\u00a0Not only all isolation capacitors were removed from the circuit, but also two amplifying stages.<\/p>\n

The analog amplification of Mani Two is assigned to the OPA1612 opamp.\u00a0The gain levels are the same as the original Mani: 35, 45, 50 and 60 dB.\u00a0So the model is compatible with a huge number of cartridges.\u00a0Resistive load is set to 47 kOhm, 200, 47 and 38 Ohm, capacitive – 47, 100, 150 and 200 pF.<\/p>\n

Switching – jumper, they are located on the bottom cover of the device.\u00a0Stoddard also emphasized that the novelty uses passive correction and a completely switchable rumble filter, and the power supply is linear with two-stage stabilization.<\/p>\n
