A couple of days ago,\u00a0\u00a0Samsung\u00a0\u00a0unveiled sales plans for\u00a0\u00a02022 Neo QLED TVs in Europe, and today for the first time information about the characteristics of one of them –\u00a0\u00a0QN800B . This is the second-ranking model in the hierarchy of the Korean manufacturer, immediately following the flagship\u00a0\u00a0QN900B .<\/p>\n

\"\"So,\u00a0\u00a0the\u00a0\u00a0QN800B\u00a0 succeeds the 2021\u00a0QN800A\u00a0\u00a0and is one of three\u00a08K\u00a0 Super HD TVs in\u00a0Samsung\u00a0‘s lineup\u00a0\u00a0.\u00a0It will be available in three diagonals –\u00a0165\u00a0\u00a0cm,\u00a0190\u00a0\u00a0cm and\u00a0216\u00a0\u00a0cm.<\/p>\n

The main feature of the TV is the innovative\u00a0\u00a0MiniLED\u00a0backlight , which, thanks to\u00a0\u00a0Quantum Matrix Pro\u00a0technology, covers 14-bit gradation of brightness with 16,384 correction steps, which is 4 times more than its predecessor.\u00a0As a result\u00a0 , the\u00a0QN800B\u00a0\u00a0reproduces a billion colors with “ultra-high fidelity,” says\u00a0\u00a0Samsung\u00a0, and 100% covers the\u00a0\u00a0DCI-P3\u00a0color standard used in\u00a0\u00a0HDR\u00a0content creation .<\/p>\n

In addition, the\u00a0MiniLED\u00a0\u00a0backlight allows you to organize a powerful local dimming system.\u00a0There is every reason to believe that in\u00a0QN800B\u00a0\u00a0it consists of the same number of zones as in\u00a0QN800A\u00a0\u00a0–\u00a01344\u00a0.\u00a0For comparison, there are only\u00a050\u00a0of them in the top TV with standard backlight\u00a0Samsung QLED Q80A\u00a0.<\/p>\n
