Motorola has unveiled a 5G neck strap that will pair with a VR and AR headset.\u00a0According\u00a0to the\u00a0company, according to the idea, the “necklace” will reduce the dimensions of the virtual reality headset by transferring its main components to the neckband.<\/p>\n

The pendant is equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, a 5000 mAh battery, a touchpad, a SIM card slot, speakers and a number of sensors, including a gyroscope and an accelerometer.\u00a0This will allow the device to become the \u201cbrain\u201d for the headset \u2013 all computing processes will take place in the pendant, transferring a ready-made picture to the glasses via a 5G connection.\u00a0Motorola says it is working with carriers to connect to the mmWave 5G network.<\/p>\n

For example, ThinkReality A3 smart glasses managed to be made small-sized by working in conjunction with a laptop or computer, but it is not practical to take them with you all the time, and with a 5G necklace it is quite reasonable.\u00a0This approach allows you to make the headset a portable device.<\/p>\n
