The popular Chinese manufacturer launches a new brand of smartphones with the announcement of the\u00a0Xiaomi CIVI<\/strong>\u00a0, a mobile focused on selfies and young consumers.\u00a0It is a device with a 120Hz curved screen, mid-range hardware, 5G connectivity and a high-capacity selfie camera.<\/p>\n

The first thing that comes out of the Xiaomi CIVI, is its\u00a06.55-inch AMOLED screen with FullHD + resolution<\/strong>\u00a0(1080 x 2400 pixels) and, more interestingly, a\u00a0refresh rate of 120HZ<\/strong>\u00a0;\u00a0But this is not all, the panel itself boasts thin edges and curvature at the side edges.\u00a0As always, there is a hole in the top center for the selfie camera, which we will talk about at the end.<\/p>\n

Beneath its elegant presentation lies hardware to match, starting\u00a0with\u00a0Qualcomm’s<\/strong>\u00a0new\u00a0Snapdragon 788G chip<\/strong>\u00a0with 5nm lithography and\u00a05G connectivity<\/strong>\u00a0.\u00a0In this vein, the SOC is accompanied by several memory configurations: 8GB of RAM + 128GB \/ 256GB of internal storage and 12GB of RAM + 256GB of storage.<\/p>\n

Finally, the set is powered by a\u00a04,500mAh battery<\/strong>\u00a0, which fortunately has a 55W fast charge capable of restoring the capacity to 100% in 45 minutes;\u00a0Although yes, it is shipped without a charger and due to the winds that blow with the\u00a0\u00a0European Commission<\/strong>\u00a0, this will not be the only terminal to do so.<\/p>\n

In terms of connectivity we can expect ac Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, Dual-SIM 5G and NFC.\u00a0As an operating system,\u00a0MIUI 12.5 based on Android 11<\/strong>\u00a0awaits us\u00a0.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Xiaomi CIVI’s<\/strong>\u00a0rear camera\u00a0setup has a 64-megapixel main sensor<\/strong>\u00a0, an 8MP ultra-wide lens with a 120 \u00b0\u00a0-degree<\/strong>\u00a0field of view, and a 2-megapixel macro camera.<\/p>\n

However, the star of the show is the\u00a0Samsung GD1 brand 32MP selfie camera<\/strong>\u00a0, which comes with great photographic features like auto focus, dual soft LED flash, and skin renewal technology.\u00a0The latter is based on machine learning to reconstruct facial imperfections such as acne, marks, blackheads, among others.<\/p>\n
