The Stealth Closed Planar Headphones have been\u00a0announced as the\u00a0next flagship model by Dan Clark Audio.<\/a>\u00a0According to the manufacturer, it took four years to develop them, which resulted in “setting a new standard for sound quality and headphone ergonomics.”<\/p>\n

The matte black and red Stealth is crafted from carbon fiber, nickel-plated titanium and aluminum in the cups and hinges, with a leather headband and faux suede ear cushions.\u00a0The headphones inherits the mechanics of the self-adjusting headband from the Aeon 2\u00a0, weighs 415 g and fits into a completely compact case.<\/p>\n

The 4th generation v-Planar ribbon asymmetric drivers in the Stealth headphones work through the AMRS system.\u00a0Dan Clark Audio described it as “a patented embedded device that combines waveguides, diffusion control, quarter-wave resonators and Helmholtz resonators into one compact structure.”<\/p>\n

These headphones have a declared distortion of less than 0.03% at 1 kHz and 90 dB SPL.\u00a0The model is handcrafted in the USA (in San Diego, California).<\/p>\n
