{"id":132000,"date":"2021-06-08T04:07:52","date_gmt":"2021-06-08T03:07:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.techweekmag.com\/?p=132000"},"modified":"2021-06-08T04:08:33","modified_gmt":"2021-06-08T03:08:33","slug":"hisense-a9g-hisense-returns-to-oled","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.stereoindex.com\/tech\/tv\/hisense-a9g-hisense-returns-to-oled\/","title":{"rendered":"Hisense A9G: Hisense returns to OLED"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hisense Europe has unveiled its plans for 2021.\u00a0And they are quite serious among the Chinese, as they are supported by high-tech MiniLED and OLED TVs.<\/p>\n<p><b>MiniLED<\/b><\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0\u00a0<b>U9GQ<\/b>\u00a0with the\u00a0<b>ULED<\/b>\u00a0marketing attachment is Hisense&#8217;s first MiniLED.\u00a0Its backlighting consists of 10,000 tiny LEDs for dazzling brightness of up to 2,000 nits.\u00a0And the largest screen, 190cm, delivers a stunning 3,000 nits and features 1280 local dimming zones.\u00a0The\u00a0<b>U9GQ<\/b>\u00a0TV\u00a0\u00a0<b>delivers\u00a0<\/b>\u00a0high-quality, high-contrast pictures with deep blacks thanks to MiniLED technology, the manufacturer says.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"fr-fic fr-dib\" src=\"https:\/\/www.stereoindex.com\/tech\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/img_60bede6b32ffa.\" alt=\"\" \/>The model also offers wide support for HDR formats (HDR10, HDR10 +, Dolby Vision and HLG) and is equipped with a Dolby Atmos audio system with a 3.1.2 channel configuration.\u00a0EARC, VRR (48-60 Hz) and ALLM functions based on HDMI 2.0.<\/p>\n<p><b>Not giving up OLED<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Contrary to last year&#8217;s\u00a0news of the abandonment of OLED technology, Hisense is releasing a new model Hisense <b>A9G<\/b>\u00a0.\u00a0The perseverance of the Chinese is commendable, but it is strange that this name coincides with the analogue of the Sony OLED A9G.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"fr-fic fr-dib\" src=\"https:\/\/www.stereoindex.com\/tech\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/img_60bede6b76239.\" alt=\"\" \/>The TV will be offered in two diagonals &#8211; 140 and 165 cm. Its features are also wide support for HDR and the Dolby Atmos 2.1.2 audio system.
