of the main differences between NanoCells is the type of LED backlighting.\u00a0TVs of the 7th use Direct LED backlighting, in the 8th series it is side (Edge Lit), and in the 9th series of LG NanoCell &#8211; FALD, i.e.\u00a0full array direct backlight with local dimming.\u00a0In the latter case, you can achieve a higher contrast of the image, more precisely controlling the distribution of the backlight.<\/p>\n<h3>Processor and HFR<\/h3>\n<p>The ability to play content at a high frame rate (100\/120 fps) is determined by the technical parameters of the image processor.\u00a0The hierarchy of chips from series to series was preserved in 2021, only now it is the 4th generation.\u00a0LG 8K TVs use the 4th Generation \u03b19 AI processor.<\/p>\n<p>The mid-range 4K TVs NANO85, NANO86,\u00a0NANO90\u00a0and NANO92 are powered by the \u03b17 Gen4 AI processor.\u00a0The younger series NANO75, NANO77, NANO80 and NANO81 are built on a conventional 4-core LM21A processor.\u00a0Therefore, they process HFR content.\u00a08K models accept HFR from any source.\u00a0NanoCell 4K mid-range &#8211; HDMI only.<\/p>\n<h3>Panel refresh rate<\/h3>\n<p>The refresh rate of the image on the screen is also an important factor for comparing TVs with each other.\u00a0Among LG NanoCell 8K 2021 models, only the 86th diagonal of the 99th series has a 120Hz refresh rate.\u00a0NANO96 and NANO95 refresh the image at 60Hz.\u00a0Among nano-fishers with 4K resolution, the NANO85\u2026 NANO92 models have a frequency of 120 Hz.<\/p>\n<p>All minor series have 60 Hz panels.\u00a0Alpha 9 and Alpha 7 TVs support AMD FreeSync, VRR and ALLM.\u00a0LG NANO75 TV &#8230; NANO81 is only ALLM.<\/p>\n<h3>Audio system<\/h3>\n<p>The difference between the LG nano TV series from each other is mainly in the number of speakers.\u00a0Hence the differences in power output and supported audio technologies.\u00a0The difference between NanoCell 2021 8K is that NANO99 uses a 4.2 sound scheme with a subwoofer and four speakers, while NANO95 and NANO96 use a 2.2 sound scheme with a subwoofer and two speakers.\u00a0The power is respectively 20 W + 4 x 10 W and 20 W + 2 x 10 W.<\/p>\n<p>NANO90 and NANO92 use a similar 2.2 sound configuration.\u00a0All other NanoCell TVs use the 2.0 configuration, i.e.\u00a0without a subwoofer.\u00a0All support Dolby Atmos, with the exception of those using the regular 4-core processor.\u00a0Those.\u00a0except for the NANO75 &#8230; NANO81 series.<\/p>\n<h3>Connections<\/h3>\n<p>Finally, the choice of a TV is influenced by its switching capabilities.\u00a0NanoCell TV 2021 differ in the number of HDMI and USB connectors.\u00a08K NanoCells have 4 HDMI v.2.1 ports.\u00a0NANO85,\u00a0NANO86\u00a0, NANO90, NANO92 have 2 HDMI v.2.1 ports and 2 HDMI v.2.0 ports.\u00a0NANO80, NANO81 have four HDMI 2.0 ports, NANO75, NANO76, NANO77 &#8211; three.\u00a0The &#8220;older&#8221; series have 3 USB connectors, the younger ones (on a regular 4-core chip) &#8211; 2 each.<\/p>\n<h3>Comparison LG NanoCell 2021:<\/h3>\n<p>In conclusion, the LG NanoCell TVs in 2021 are not that much different from the LG 2020 model year.\u00a0But still, albeit small, but there are differences.\u00a0And since only new models will be on sale in the near future, for the convenience of choosing the NanoCell TV, we have brought their differing
