streamer\u00a0<b>Bluesound Node 2i<\/b>\u00a0and integrated amplifier with network functionality\u00a0<b>Bluesound powernode 2i<\/b>\u00a0.<\/p>\n<p>New items received updated chips in the DAC units, more powerful central processing units and improved control keys.\u00a0In addition, the Powernode 2i's power output has increased from 60 watts to\u00a0<b>80 watts<\/b>\u00a0per channel into 8 ohms.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" title=\"Bluesound powernode 2i\" src=\"https:\/\/www.stereoindex.com\/tech\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/ncg377ezyh4gcjhyh92mqp06s6zvxzf7.jpg\" alt=\"Bluesound powernode 2i\" width=\"870\" height=\"516\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The processor part of the new generation of models is built on a\u00a0<b>1.8 GHz<\/b>\u00a0quad-core\u00a0<b>ARM\u00a0\u00a0<\/b><b>Cortex A53 processor<\/b>\u00a0, and the DAC can now work in streaming mode with\u00a0<b>24\/192<\/b>\u00a0signals\u00a0and convert decoded\u00a0<b>MQA<\/b>\u00a0files\u00a0.\u00a0In addition to Wi-Fi and Ethernet, Bluesound Node 2i and Powernode 2i can receive digital signal through optical and coaxial inputs, USB Type-A and HDMI eARC ports.\u00a0There is also a bi-directional Bluetooth module onboard with aptX HD support.<\/p>\n<p>Both models support, in addition to the proprietary\u00a0<b>BluOS<\/b>\u00a0ecosystem\u00a0, the\u00a0<b>AirPlay 2<\/b>\u00a0protocol\u00a0and are\u00a0<b>Roon Ready<\/b>\u00a0.\u00a0<b>The Bluesound Node 2i<\/b>\u00a0and\u00a0<b>Bluesound Powernode 2i<\/b>\u00a0will go on sale in June for \u00a3\u00a0<b>549<\/b>\u00a0and\u00a0<b>\u00a3 849<\/b>\u00a0,
