Chinese audio equipment manufacturer\u00a0Yulong has<\/b> begun shipping a versatile Yulong DA1\u00a0model\u00a0that combines the functions of a DAC, headphone amplifier and pre-amplifier.<\/p>\n

The digital block of the device is built on the top-\u00a0end AK4499EQ<\/b>\u00a0chip\u00a0from\u00a0Asahi Kasei<\/b>\u00a0and can work with PCM 32\/768 and DSD512 files.\u00a0The model also uses a proprietary FPGA-based jitter reduction solution.<\/p>\n

The volume control in the model is completely analogue with digital control.\u00a0For connecting headphones, balanced (6 V) and unbalanced (3 V) outputs are provided, the amplifying stages operate in class A.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
