As we previously\u00a0reported<\/a>\u00a0,\u00a0FiiO has<\/b> announced the release of the new FiiO FH5s\u00a0, which features a hybrid design using different types of radiators for different frequency bands.\u00a0Now the technical characteristics and the likely price of the novelty have become known.<\/p>\n

Recall that the acoustic part of the model has a three-way configuration, in which four drivers are involved – two dynamic and two reinforcing.\u00a0The first of these, responsible for low frequencies, has a\u00a012 mm<\/b>\u00a0diaphragm\u00a0coated with beryllium.\u00a0The second dynamic emitter operates at the midrange, and its beryllium-coated membrane is\u00a06 mm in size<\/b>\u00a0.\u00a0The high-frequency range is sounded by two\u00a0Knowles\u00a0<\/b>TWFK-30017<\/b>\u00a0reinforcing emitters\u00a0.\u00a0The nominal impedance of the headphones is\u00a040 ohms<\/b>\u00a0, the sensitivity is\u00a0106 dB<\/b>\u00a0.<\/p>\n

The headphone housings are machined from an aluminum-magnesium alloy and have a semi-open design, the grilles on the outside help equalize the pressure in the internal chambers and help reduce resonances.\u00a0The developers named this solution\u00a0TRISHELL<\/b>\u00a0.\u00a0The Crossover has three switches that allow the listener to customize the sound to their liking.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The earbuds come with a wide range of ear cushions in different sizes and materials, so that the user will have no difficulty in choosing the earpieces.\u00a0The kit also includes a silver-plated copper litz wire with replaceable connectors – 2.5 mm, 3.5 mm or 4.4 mm.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0FiiO FH5s has an<\/b>\u00a0estimated retail price of\u00a0around\u00a0280 euros<\/b>\u00a0.<\/p>\n
