They were the embodiment of the ambitions of the owner of the company, Edwin van der Kley Rynveld, who always dreamed of accurately reproducing live sound.\u00a0According to Siltech, 3-level systems with the highest rigidity cabinets have been developed for this.<\/p>\n<p>At the bottom level are four 18-inch woofers, a rare home caliber that hit the 17Hz low end.\u00a0The middle level was occupied by a set of drivers responsible for the mid-high frequency range.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"big\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"big\" src=\"https:\/\/www.stereoindex.com\/tech\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/6c82fc13b74572394af4a9946b6aebe5.jpg\" \/><\/figure>\n<p>These are five tweeters, supplemented by three mid-frequencies, including ribbon and domed tweeters with a diamond membrane.\u00a0At high frequencies Siltech Symphony operates up to 100 kHz.\u00a0At the top of the speakers is another woofer with a special oval voice coil (possibly a Scan-Speak product).<\/p>\n<figure class=\"big\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"big\" src=\"https:\/\/www.stereoindex.com\/tech\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/160ed8370b9622834c0c42749250833d.jpg\" \/><\/figure>\n<p>All three modules are separated by ruby \u200b\u200bsupport elements.\u00a0According to Siltech, the Symphony&#8217;s sound is very phase-matched very accurately.\u00a0The cabinet designs allow for a combination of different materials &#8211; in particular, the 180-kg bass module-base inherited its shape and technology from the grand piano.\u00a0As a result, with a &#8220;growth&#8221; of a little less than 2 meters, each such column weighs a total of 244 kg.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"big\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"big\" src=\"https:\/\/www.stereoindex.com\/tech\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/2b638279de48437cf90785990241c246.jpg\" \/><\/figure>\n<p>Amplifiers with a minimum power of 20W are recommended for Symphony.\u00a0Nothing is said about the maximum power &#8211; at the same time, without going into clipping, the systems issue 115 dB of sound pressure.\u00a0For nominal conditions in the &#8220;textbook&#8221; range of 20 Hz &#8211; 20 kHz, a nonlinear distortion factor of up to 0.25% is promised.<\/p>\n<p>The manufacturer called Symphony &#8220;one of the world&#8217;s finest loudspeakers.&#8221;\u00a0For pricing, finishes and options, contact Siltech directly.<\/p>\n<p>[ratemypost]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Dutch company Siltech, known for its cable products, has\u00a0introduced the Siltech Symphony full-size floorstands.
