{"id":125684,"date":"2021-03-15T09:30:26","date_gmt":"2021-03-15T09:30:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.techweekmag.com\/?p=125684"},"modified":"2024-02-28T08:31:47","modified_gmt":"2024-02-28T08:31:47","slug":"vermouth-audio-studio-monitor-speakers-raal-tweeters-accuton-speakers-and-jantzen-crossovers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.stereoindex.com\/tech\/speakers\/vermouth-audio-studio-monitor-speakers-raal-tweeters-accuton-speakers-and-jantzen-crossovers\/","title":{"rendered":"Vermouth Audio Studio Monitor speakers: RAAL tweeters, Accuton speakers and Jantzen crossovers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Bali-based and renowned for its cable products, the Indonesian company Vermouth Audio has\u00a0unveiled\u00a0renders of its Studio Monitor speakers.\u00a0All of them have received cases in black lacquer finish with the characteristic wide bevels of the front panel.<\/p>\n<p>The speakers are made in three versions: the older Studio Monitor was equipped with a pair of low-midrange drivers with a tweeter located between them.<\/p>\n<p>Then there are the Micro Studio Monitor and the budget Economic Micro Studio Monitor: both are classic two-way bookshelf speakers with a tweeter mounted above the woofer-midrange speaker.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"big\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"big\" src=\"https:\/\/www.stereoindex.com\/tech\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/c5406aa241d8b0598cb5a93327097f72.jpg\" \/><\/figure>\n<p>In the role of the latter in all three speakers, a five-inch Accuton model with a ceramic diffuser works.\u00a0The tweeters for the Vermouth Audio Studio Monitor acoustics are selected from the RAAL portfolio: in the older speakers, the RAAL 70-20XR AM is installed, and the Economic model received the RAAL 64-10 with a smaller ribbon radiator area.<\/p>\n<p>All Vermouth Audio Studio Monitor speakers are equipped with premium Jantzen crossovers.\u00a0The OCC internal wiring and rhodium-plated copper speaker cable terminals are Vermouth Audio's own products.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"big\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"big\" src=\"https:\/\/www.stereoindex.com\/tech\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/051a647a957b3c9ba3a37210a69c2e04.jpg\" \/><\/figure>\n<p>In the US, the estimated prices for Vermouth Audio Micro Studio Monitors are $ 6,000, Economic Micro Studio &#8211;
