As we said, this\u00a0Epson ET-4700\u00a0is a model focused on a professional audience and this is reflected from the first glance.\u00a0It’s\u00a0375 x 347 x 237mm in size\u00a0and\u00a05kg\u00a0in weight\u00a0, making it a pretty robust printer.\u00a0It is available in\u00a0black\u00a0and highlights its front, in which a\u00a03.7-inch LCD screen\u00a0takes center stage\u00a0from which you can see all the information you need about your printing, possible errors that may arise during the process, folders, functions, ink status …\u00a0not touch, but you can scroll through the menus with the buttons that appear on the right side.\u00a0In this keypad, in addition to the navigation keys, a numeric keyboard also appears since, as we will see later, one of its functions is to send a fax.<\/p>\n

The loading of cartridges is in the front, something that we find very comfortable, however, we would have liked to see a loading of paper also in the front, in a type of closed tray that we have seen in other models and it seems to us the best option.\u00a0In this Epson EcoTank ET-4700 the paper is loaded at the back and is in vertical format, so it stands out from the printer itself.\u00a0Also in the back is the power and Ethernet port, something correct to try to hide the cables as much as possible, but also the USB, a port that should have been located elsewhere to make its access more convenient.<\/p>\n
In short, the design of this Epson EcoTank ET-4700 leaves us lights and shadows.\u00a0It is beautiful, elegant, strong and gives a very professional image to our office or office, however, it has some details that could have been polished, especially to make the user experience more comfortable.<\/p>\n
