Essentially, this is a single-ended version of the premium\u00a0Burson Soloist 3X Performance\u00a0model\u00a0.<\/p>\n<p>Another amplifier, but already in class AB, is connected to conventional speaker terminals.\u00a0It delivers up to 45 watts per channel to conventional speakers.\u00a0The volume of the amplifiers is independently adjustable.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"big\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"big\" src=\"https:\/\/www.stereoindex.com\/tech\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/0fbc168f49181a98705a91b08802fdb3.jpg\" \/><\/figure>\n<p>All Funk circuitry fit into a very small case, rather suitable for a similar class D device. The novelty is positioned as an amplifier for near-field speakers or compact desktop systems.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"big\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"big\" src=\"https:\/\/www.stereoindex.com\/tech\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/820c118487af0c7ae04119884f55192b.jpg\" \/><\/figure>\n<p>A full-sized amplifier is not well suited for this application.\u00a0Since the class of both amplifiers assumes a solid heat dissipation, the case also works as a large cooling radiator.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"big\"><\/figure>\n<p>The legs on the Funk allow it to be installed horizontally.\u00a0The optional Burson Cool Stand places the amplifier vertically and cools much better.\u00a0When the Funk is connected to your computer, it&#8217;s ready to work with gaming headsets thanks to its microphone bypass feature.\u00a0The novelty is powered by 24 V from a separate unit operating according to the patented Max Current technology.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"big\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"big\" src=\"https:\/\/www.stereoindex.com\/tech\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/9110a8faeb7e5c18cb3bfe229172af84.jpg\" \/><\/figure>\n<p>Funk was released as a regular and deluxe version, which is complemented by a pair of Burson V6 Vivid Dual discrete 2-channel operational amplifiers and a Burson Cool Stand.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"big\"><\/figure>\n<p>Until March 1, 2021, Burson Audio offered to purchase the Funk in the Deluxe package at the basic price of $ 544.\u00a0After the end of the promotion, the deluxe version will cost $ 744.<\/p>\n<p>[ratemypost]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Australian audio engineers at Burson Audio\u00a0provided the\u00a0Funk with two separate stereo signal paths.\u00a0The headphone output is fully discrete, operating in class A.
