The Trust GXT 856 Torac Metal Gaming Keyboard is a durable and affordable device that is great not only for gaming, but also for everyday use.<\/p>\n

The construction is simple enough considering the strong metal plate without bending.\u00a0Rainbow backlighting is responsible for the brightness of the colors; the keyboard itself is available only in black.<\/p>\n

The cost of the GXT 856 is $ 48. For this, you get a wired connection, a 2-year warranty, 12 programmable keys, and Anti-Ghost.<\/p>\n

The USB 2.0 cable is 180 centimeters long.\u00a0Acceptable wire length for easy connection to a computer.<\/p>\n

The keyboard is full-sized, namely 468 mm wide and 188 mm high.\u00a0There are two footrests in the back to raise the keyboard to a comfortable angle.\u00a0The device weighs 913 grams, considering the metal top plate, it looks like the keyboard is capable of withstanding a few minor bumps (although we think you should be kinder to your keyboard).<\/p>\n

It is equipped with 12 programmable multimedia keys and quick launch applications (calculator, e-book, browser home page), all launched with a function key.<\/p>\n

There is a game mode switch that lets you lock the Windows key with one touch.\u00a0The keyboard supports Anti-Ghosting and simultaneously records up to eight different keystrokes, which can be especially useful in MOBA and FPS games.<\/p>\n

Since it is a plug-and-play keyboard, it is compatible with Windows 7 to 10, Linux, Mac and Chrome OS.\u00a0It is also compatible with Xbox One and PS4 consoles.<\/p>\n

You can’t count on an ergonomic design, but the keyboard is comfortable to use for a long time, but if you need an opera for your wrists or want an ergonomic keyboard, then this is not the best option.<\/p>\n

The membrane keys are initially harsh, but they become much more comfortable after several hours of typing.\u00a0Since this is a membrane keyboard, it is not that noisy until you start pounding the keys as hard as you can.<\/p>\n

Do you prefer a wireless keyboard<\/strong>\u00a0.\u00a0If you’ve ditched wired peripherals, you probably want to pay a little more for a wireless keyboard.\u00a0Wireless devices can be more convenient because they are not so limited, which is very important for some users.<\/p>\n

You need a backlight that you can customize<\/strong>\u00a0.\u00a0You will not find a series of colors and other lighting effects here, only a classic breath.\u00a0There are only three different settings: fixed, backlight and bright, they are practically the same.<\/p>\n

You need different color options<\/strong>\u00a0.\u00a0The GXT 856 is only available in black.\u00a0Having more options for customizing your PC, but that might scare off those looking for an inexpensive keyboard that matches the overall gamut of the entire system.<\/p>\n
