According to the representatives of Audio Physic, their flagship – the new generation of Cardeas acoustics – is\u00a0full of\u00a0technological breakthroughs and innovative components that allow you to truly “free music”.\u00a0The company called this set of technologies and elements PowerTrain.<\/p>\n

The acoustics have been developed entirely from scratch.\u00a0Its mission, it claims, is to provide a spacious, large-scale, limitless sound, while allowing you to focus on the smallest details at any time.\u00a0The result is a 4-way audio system in a multi-layered asymmetric honeycomb housing.<\/p>\n

The inner spacers are also made of honeycomb material, which gives the body a solid 68 kg weight and ample rigidity.\u00a0Like most loudspeakers in the Audio Physic catalog, the outside of the sloping cabinet is decorated with glass panels.<\/p>\n

The speakers are shifted to the side relative to the center of the bezel for better alignment.\u00a0The HHCT III + tweeter is enclosed in its own chamber, which also houses the crossover.\u00a0A special feature of the mid-bass and bass speakers, designed specifically for Cardeas, is the absence of a centering washer.<\/p>\n

According to the company, the washer is a useful and necessary element of any driver with a cone diffuser, but it also suppresses dynamics.\u00a0The lack of a washer in Audio Physic was compensated by strengthening the attachment of the cone to the suspension.<\/p>\n
