The Yamaha SR-B30A Soundbar is a simple and effective way to dramatically improve the sound quality of your modern TV. The soundbar is very easy to place and thanks to the low height of the case, it can be installed directly in front of the TV on a stand or hung on the wall. Since the Yamaha SR-B30A has a built-in subwoofer, the entire system will be as concise and easy to use as possible.
The soundbar body has a nice streamlined shape with rounded corners and a protective mesh covering the entire front panel. The main function controls and indicators are grouped in a block in the middle of the top of the Yamaha SR-B30A. The speaker uses two-way built-in stereo acoustics (one tweeter and one woofer in each channel), as well as two separate woofers as a subwoofer. To further increase the output at low frequencies, the soundbar is equipped with bass reflexes. All this provides the Yamaha SR-B30A with powerful and rich sound even without the use of an external subwoofer. And to further enhance the low-frequency range, you can use the special Bass Extension DSP mode.
The power of the built-in amplifiers of the Yamaha SR-B30A is 120 W (30 W for each stereo channel and 60 W for the subwoofer). To connect to a TV, the soundbar has an HDMI input with support for the ARC audio return channel. Thus, the sound from all signal sources connected to the TV can be broadcast to the Yamaha SR-B30A. In addition, this model has an optical input, which greatly increases the flexibility of its use.
The soundbar is equipped with Dolby Digital and Dolby Atmos decoders with the ability to obtain virtual surround sound, as well as DSP with several operating modes. Separately, it is worth noting the Voice Clear function, which significantly increases the intelligibility of dialogue transmission. The Yamaha SR-B30A is equipped with Bluetooth, with which you can not only broadcast a signal from compatible mobile devices to the speaker, but also control its operation through a proprietary application.

I just bought this soundbar and for general TV watching I am very disappointed. Mainly because, unlike other soundbars I have owned, this one does not have any sort of volume leveling.
It also lacks a lot of features common to other soundbars.
