The spring addition to the Triangle Electroacoustique portfolio is a limited edition of the streaming multi-room Bluetooth speaker AIO 3 in the Spring 2022 version. The model is quite ready to become an interior decoration – it should be classified as a lifestyle class. However, not a single design: Triangle AIO 3, according to the manufacturer, is ready to sound a room up to 20 m². For this, a pair of 3.9-inch woofers with two inch tweeters and 45 watts of power per channel is enough.
AIO 3 largely inherits the technology of the company’s full-size systems. For example, on board there is a discrete crossover, which, according to French engineers, has significantly improved the sound quality. As for the audio signal sources, the Wi-Fi network connection, duplicated by the RJ45 Ethernet cable connector, should play the main role here.
Internet radio and online services such as Spotify, Napster, TIDAL, Deezer, Qobuz, TuneIn and even Amazon Music (after the latest firmware) are available on AIO 3. The machine is DLNA certified and uses UPnP. It is ready to play files from MP3 to FLAC in Hi-Res.
In addition to multi-room capabilities, two Triangle AIO 3 can be combined into a stereo pair. All this happens under the control of an application for smartphones. In addition to network and wireless (Wi-Fi added Bluetooth 5.0 with support for SBC, AAC and aptX) capabilities, audio sources can be connected to the AIO 3 via an analog AUX input, an optical S / PDIF interface, and a USB 2.0 port is also available.
The body of the Triangle AIO 3 is made of wood, which, however, is hidden under a textile coating from the Scandinavian company Gabriel in the colors Powder Pink, Frosted White, Forest Green and Ocher Red – it is in them that the spring version of the column was released. Also available in Slate Gray and Blue.
In Europe, the suggested retail price of the Triangle AIO 3 Limited Edition Spring 2022 is 400 euros.
