Magnat unveils new Signature series speakers for music and multi-channel home cinema

German audio manufacturer Magnat has introduced a new line of loudspeakers. The Signature series enhances the existing Signature 500 and 700 series while also complementing the Signature 999 and Signature Edelstein models. This new range features three passive loudspeakers: the Signature 809 and 607 floorstanding models, along with the monitor model 603. Each loudspeaker has been meticulously designed in German laboratories and integrates effortlessly with the current Signature Center Pro, a pair of Atmos ATM 202 speakers, and the Omega CS12 subwoofer. This compatibility enables a variety of configurations for both stereo systems and home cinema setups.

The Signature Series comes in two sophisticated matte finishes: black and white. The silk matte baffle highlights the chassis, featuring Magnat’s distinctive grey ceramic diaphragms. The cabinets, made from scratch-resistant tone-on-tone vinyl, along with the removable fabric grilles, enhance the speakers’ visual elegance.

The essence of the series lies in its distinctive and proprietary integration of two high-resolution tweeters. This setup features a contemporary fmax tweeter dome paired with an additional super tweeter, facilitating an extended frequency range that reaches up to 50 kHz. This arrangement ensures exceptional detail, sound clarity, and dynamic range. The meticulously engineered sound conduction of the speakers provides outstanding radiation characteristics, resulting in a well-balanced and natural sound profile.

Magnat’s cutting-edge 3L diaphragm technology, crafted from a blend of ceramic and aluminum, effectively reduces unwanted resonances while delivering deep bass and precise midrange frequencies. Each driver is fine-tuned using Klippel technology, an innovative measurement system that Magnat pioneered in the speaker manufacturing industry. This technology guarantees remarkable sonic precision throughout the entire frequency range.

The sturdy MDF cabinets of the speakers significantly diminish unwanted resonances, and the crossover network facilitates accurate transitions between the drivers. With 24 dB acoustic filters, listeners can enjoy an immersive audio experience characterized by precise frequency centers. The dual Airflex vents in the 809 and 607 models contribute to powerful bass performance.
