Avantone specialists presented a limited version of the active studio monitor CLA-10A , which differs from the basic one in its updated appearance.
The key difference is the use of North American black walnut wood. This gives the limited edition model a more classic look.
As for the filling, it has not changed. Inside there is a 7.3-inch woofer ( AV10-MLF , cone), working in tandem with a 1.38-inch tweeter ( AV10-MHF , soft dome). All this is complemented by a 200 W Class AB amplifier . The body may in some way remind buyers of the Yamaha NS-10 monitors .
Avantone CLA-10A Limited Edition
The monitors operate in the frequency range 60 Hz – 20 kHz with a maximum sound pressure of 110 dB. The dimensions of the device are 381.5 × 215 × 197.5 mm, and the weight is 8.2 kg.
Sales of a limited version of the Avantone CLA-10A monitor will start this year. You can become the owner of the new item for $1,460 (per pair).

I own several AR pairs. Love my 3as and 5s. Sold many AR 4s. The closed box setup is a personal preference.
