The flagship of the new “Aurora XT” product series, the HECO Aurora XT 1000 floorstanding loudspeakers stand out with their elegant appearance, innovative technologies and, of course, outstanding acoustic properties. The low-midrange range is reproduced by two 200 mm woofers and one 170 mm midrange with time-tested and well-proven HECO kraft paper diffusers, and demonstrates maximum naturalness, timbre accuracy and high speed in combination with large-scale bass.
The latest Fluktus tweeter from HECO delivers ideal dispersion properties thanks to its 28 mm silk dome and specially calculated multi-wave front panel. These features ensure high resolution with precise transmission of microdynamics and guarantee an overall coherent soundstage with precise localization and focusing of sound images. The housing has increased rigidity, is reinforced with internal baffles to eliminate overtones and resonances and is mounted on a solid aluminum podium on height-adjustable massive pendulum metal spikes. The front and top panels are covered with a matt silk lacquer.
The modern HECO models are characterized by components developed on the basis of innovative technologies and offer excellent sound characteristics for the reproduction of both high-quality music material in stereophonic mode and full-fledged surround sound and movie soundtracks. Moreover, the Aurora XT series is pleasing not only to the ear, but also to the eye. The combination of modern wood texture with high-quality matt silk lacquer finish, decorating the front and top panels of the case, simultaneously provides a very modern appearance and timeless elegance. For better compatibility with the interior, the Aurora is available in both black and brown finishes. There are also grilles that are attached to the front panels using inconspicuous integrated magnets to combine the beauty of the interior.
The Fluctus tweeter is used on all speakers in the Aurora XT series (except for the powerful active subwoofer). The new HECO tweeter ensures ideal dispersion properties thanks to a 28 mm silk dome and a specially calculated multi-wave front panel. These features ensure the most balanced and harmonious integration of the center speaker in a surround sound setup and guarantee an overall coherent sound stage with precise localization and focus of sound images. The tweeter is extremely stable thanks to ferrofluid cooling and is equipped with a powerful dual ferrite magnet system.
The kraft paper cones, which have proven themselves over many years and are optimized specifically for distortion-free reproduction, on a long-stroke suspension with a powerful voice coil, are used as the basis for the woofers in all models of the series. In the floor-standing speakers, these woofers are used in a dual configuration, and the subwoofer uses a powerful bass speaker with a 30 cm cone. The LF and MF speakers are equipped with decorative rings and are attached with 8 and 6 screws, respectively. In addition, the speaker system has increased rigidity and is reinforced with internal baffles. The floor-standing Aurora XT models are installed on durable podiums with metal conical spikes and the ability to adjust the height.
