Métronome Technologie is set to unveil its inaugural music server, named DSAS (Digital Sharing Audio Server), at the High End audio fair in Munich from May 15-18, 2025. This cutting-edge device has been created in partnership with Audirvana, a French software company renowned for its excellence in digital sound reproduction.
The DSAS is a premium network player featuring integrated storage and streaming capabilities, specifically designed to work with an external DAC, such as the DSC Mini from the same product line. This compact and powerful server offers music playback from its internal storage (standard 2TB, expandable to 4TB) alongside popular streaming services like Qobuz, Tidal, HRA, and Presto Music. What sets the DSAS apart is its complete integration of Audirvana Studio, which operates on a Linux-based system with 4GB of RAM. Users can control the device through the Audirvana app, available on both Android and iOS, enabling them to manage their local library and streaming services, including features like DSP, upsampling (up to DSD1024), and parametric equalization. Jean-Marie Clauzel, deputy director of Métronome, states, ‘We aimed to create a multifunctional source that serves as both a music server and a streamer.’
Damien Plisson, CEO of Audirvana, adds, ‘This partnership allows us to showcase our software in a dedicated device, independent of a computer.’ Métronome will showcase the DSAS at the upcoming High End audio fair in Munich, located in Atrium 4.2 room F222.
