Kinera Celest Yaksha are new in-ear headphones with a hybrid four-driver architecture that combines two dynamic emitters, a Knowles balanced armature driver and a micro-planar module. This model was created with a reference to the image of Yaksha, a mythical guardian spirit subordinate to the heavenly king Vaishravana. Like the character himself, Yaksha combines fury and harmony, which is reflected in its presentation: deep bass, full mids and sophisticated elaboration of the upper range.
Each range is served by its own driver: an 8-mm driver is responsible for the bass, a 10-mm driver with an LCP diaphragm is responsible for the lower and middle midrange, a Knowles RAN-62462 armature driver is responsible for the upper midrange and highs, and a micro-planar driver is responsible for ultra-high frequencies. The entire system is combined into a four-way crossover circuit, providing a consistent and accurate feed without gaps between registers.
The cases are made in the typical Celest aesthetic: a design with sharp shapes and winged patterns emphasizes the mythological subtext. The model is presented in two design options – blood red and sky blue. The fit is ergonomic, the shape is adapted for long-term listening.
The kit includes a high-quality cable: 6N OCC hybrid of silver-plated copper and high-purity copper, braided using the Litz scheme. The cable is detachable, with 2-pin 0.78 mm connectors and the ability to choose between 3.5 mm and 4.4 mm plugs.
