WiiM has unveiled its Vibelink amplifier, which the company describes as an advanced 100W Class D amplifier designed for both digital and analog sources.

According to WiiM, this new model delivers approximately 67% more power than the WiiM Pro Amplifier, with an emphasis on fuller, more robust sound across a variety of settings.
Key to the design, according to WiiM, is the inclusion of an ESS ES9038Q2M DAC, designed to handle signals up to 24-bit/192kHz.

WiiM claims that this built-in converter supports a range of variable sample rates and bit depths for improved fidelity from digital sources. In addition to optical and coaxial inputs, the Vibelink amplifier features an analog RCA jack, making it compatible with streaming devices and older equipment that has an external amplifier stage.

WiiM claims that the amplifier’s internal hardware has been designed with thermal management and noise suppression in mind. The cooling system uses copper heat pipes, an aluminum heatsink, and a monitoring system to maintain stable operating temperatures. The flapping noise suppression feature is said to reduce unwanted artifacts when switching between sources or adjusting settings.

Designed to fit the size of the company’s Ultra streamer, the Vibelink amplifier is aimed at listeners who prefer a standalone amplifier over a more networked solution. “We wanted to offer an amplifier that delivers high power and sound quality without requiring a Wi-Fi connection,” said Dr. Lifeng Zhao, CEO of WiiM, in a company statement.

WiiM also highlights that users can connect the Vibelink Amp to their Pro Plus, Pro, or Mini streamers, as part of the brand’s wider ecosystem for multi-room audio integration. WiiM claims that the Class D amplifier circuitry provides enough power to reproduce complex musical passages without distortion. WiiM Vibelink Amp 2.0 CH Class D Digital Amplifier
