It is time to update the firmware of ONKYO & PIONEER AV receivers

Of course, not all, but only the Onkyo TX-RZ70, Integra DRX-8.4 and Pioneer Elite VSX-LX805 models – now they can receive the new software update over the network.

The main acquisition they will receive after installation is Roon ready status. No less useful is support for Dolby Atmos Music technology, as well as the Dirac Live room acoustics correction system, which is now capable of working in large rooms and can handle longer delays – up to 20-50 ms, which will be enough for distances between speakers and the listener of up to 17 m.

If you are not sure about the stability of your Internet connection, you can download the update from the manufacturer’s website and upload the firmware using a USB flash drive. And in the USA it is even possible to buy a flash drive with already recorded firmware for little money.
