Shanling CD80II is a new compact CD player with advanced connectivity and modern controls. It is equipped with an Ingenic X1000E processor for fast boot-up and smooth interface operation, and a Cirrus Logic CS43198 DAC, which provides high-quality playback with a balance between detail and musicality.
The built-in balanced headphone amplifier based on two SGM8262 chips develops up to 850 mW per channel, which allows using both in-ear and full-size models. The disc loading mechanism with a tray and the fourth-generation HD850 drive ensure accurate and reliable CD reading.
The player supports playback from USB drives up to 2 TB (including formats up to PCM 384 kHz and DSD256) and audio reception via Bluetooth 5.0 with LDAC, AAC and SBC codecs. Physical buttons, a remote control and the proprietary Eddict Player application are provided for control.
The compact size and aluminum body make the CD80II convenient for placement both on a desktop and in a narrow Hi-Fi rack.
