5-driver configuration
uses a 1DD+4BA configuration with each driver running at full capacity. Classic American Knowles drivers are used for mid and high frequencies, and a new dynamic driver with a biocellulose diaphragm is responsible for powerful bass.
Biocellulose Diaphragm Driver
Powerful 10mm biocellulose diaphragm dynamic driver delivers deep, responsive bass. Stronger neodymium magnets make bass clear and textured.
Knowles Balanced Armature Drivers
Two Knowles 29689 armature drivers provide natural, accurate mids and upper mids that are especially good for vocals and stringed instruments. Dual Knowles 31736 drivers deliver clear highs for an airy, spacious sound.
Tone Tuning and Crossover
The Arete’s tuning is focused on the natural sound of professional studio monitors, with rich bass and a pleasant overall sound. The mids are tuned almost flat, allowing instruments and vocals to sound natural. A three-way electronic crossover system and three independent acoustic tubes provide better separation of frequency ranges.
Collaboration with Fresh Reviews
ZiiGaat collaborated with Fresh Reviews to create Arete. Fresh Reviews is a popular YouTube channel and audio reviewer with in-depth knowledge of the Hi-Fi industry. With their help, ZiiGaat was able to achieve the highest quality Arete sound.
