The operating principle of magnetic planar headphones is very different from dynamic ones. In particular, the T+A Solitaire P uses a thin film of synthetic material to form a membrane. This film is driven by a magnetic field. Due to the low mass and lack of inertia, like heavy diaphragms of dynamic headphones, the sound is unique and airy. And in Solitaire P it is unusual even in comparison with other headphones made using the same technology.
