Mu3 headphones are equipped with active noise reduction technology specially developed by KEF. It allows the Mu3 headphones to cancel out external noise without affecting detail.
Each Mu3 headphone housing features an 8.2mm full-range driver, tuned by KEF’s engineering team to deliver dynamic and well-balanced, coherent sound.

Compact, Ergonomic Design
The ergonomic design of the new Mu3 provides the listener with a comfortable listening experience. Mu3 amplifiers are balanced in the ears thanks to clever weighting that prevents them from falling out. There are four finely adjustable ear tips to choose from, providing a perfect fit to your ears while perfectly isolating noise and keeping them securely in place.
Mu3 eliminates the hassle of wires with a stable, lag-free Bluetooth 5.0 connection. Audio performance is further improved by the introduction of simultaneous transmission, where both headphones receive a signal at the same time, rather than the more common approach of sending audio to one earbud and passing it on to the other, thus introducing the risk of delays. Mu3 is easy to connect and stable on both iOS and Android devices.
Ambient Mode
After simple setup, automatic pairing makes listening to Mu3 easy. The Mu3 headphones also boast an “Ambient Mode” that, with the touch of a button, disables active noise cancellation and instead plays audio picked up by the microphones through the headphones, bypassing passive noise cancellation, providing instant clarity to what’s happening around you.
In addition, Mu3 is equipped with high-capacity batteries with fast charging function, allowing you to listen to music all day long, even with Bluetooth and noise cancellation enabled.
