The first mention of the FiiO EH3 appeared on March 26, 2018, when James Chang, CEO of FiiO, shared details of the model in a Facebook post, and since then there have been many changes.
Now in the final stages of pre-production, the company unveiled the EH3 NC at an international exhibition in Chengdu, China, and provided an opportunity for enthusiasts to test and provide feedback on the pre-production prototype.
FiiO EH3 NC is quite a revolutionary product for the company. Not only are these FiiO’s first full-size headphones, they are also the company’s first headphones equipped with Bluetooth, active noise cancellation (as the “NC” in the name tells us), implemented with FeedForward (FF) and FeedBack (FB) in combination with a high-performance noise reduction chip ADI company.
The FiiO EH3 is a pair of titanium-plated 45mm enclosed speakers equipped with the Qualcomm CSR8675 Bluetooth chip, providing support for all modern Bluetooth audio codecs, including: AAC, SBC, aptX, aptX HD, LDAC, LHDC (HWA), as well as NFC.
A 1000 mAh battery allows the EH3 NC to operate for 40 hours on a single charge, charging time is about 2 hours, and standby time is about 1000 hours.
