Slovenian headphone maker Erzetich Audio has revised its over-ear headphones Thalia. They are still open headphones that are mainly intended for mobile use, but some improvements have been made.

Erzetich Thalia

Thalia is the name of the goddess of celebration and she is the daughter of Zeus. Thalia is also the name of a pair of over-ear open headphones from Slovenia-based Erzetich Audio . The first version of the Thalia came onto the market at the end of 2019. The Erzetich Thalia v2024 Edition – or Lady Thalia the 2nd – takes over many features of the first model, but changes have also been made.

The Thalia is intended for portable use and weighs only 280 grams. The changes include a lightweight carbon fiber headband replacing the heavier steel band. The ear cups are made of composite material with more complicated internal design instead of the previous wood. There are also softer, larger and more comfortable ear cushions and an 8-wire silver-plated OFC cable. The titanium drivers still have a diameter of 40 millimeters. In addition to the standard black or silver finish that costs just under 700 euros, there is a range of colors that cost 50 euros more.

We do not yet know when the Erzetich Thalia V2024 will be available.
