The stereo phones feature new large 53mm wideband drivers with powerful permendur (iron/cobalt/vanadium) magnets and voice coils wound using high-purity OFC (7N) oxygen-free copper wires for more efficient signal transmission. The Audio-Technica ATH-AD2000X have large cups, the outer parts of which are lightweight metal grilles with oval branding plaques attached to them. The earcups are equipped with durable, comfortable suede ear pads with soft filling. The headband includes two elastic metal arcs, as well as a proprietary 3D Wing Support Housing, consisting of two “paws” (with soft pads) that can move in three planes. Stereo phones have a straight, non-removable, two-way cable 3 meters long with a protective elastomer sheath that prevents tangling. The cores are made of OFC copper, which improves electrical conductivity. Uses a gold-plated 3.5mm plug. A 6.3mm adapter is included.
