The spring steel headband is equipped with an elastic pad, the holes in which provide the necessary ventilation. The round cups, whose holders allow them to rotate freely for maximum comfort, are equipped with soft artificial leather ear pads. The filling of the ear pads has a memory effect, thanks to which the Audeze LCD-2 Classic Closed Back fits snugly, but without excessive compression.
Audeze LCD-2 Classic Closed Back is equipped with patented isodynamic (planar) drivers with double-sided magnets. The placement of the magnets is chosen in such a way that the field they create is uniform over the entire area of the voice coil applied to the membrane. This design allows for high efficiency and a wide dynamic range of sound. The diameter of the ultra-thin emitter membrane is 106 mm, which provides a very wide stereo image with a high degree of detail. The emitters use neodymium magnets, which have high power and low weight.
The headphones are equipped with a detachable connecting cable, which uses a conductor made of highly pure oxygen-free copper, as well as a high-tech dielectric. The cable is 1.9 meters long; it has a 6.3 mm Jack connector for connecting to the signal source, and two mini-XLR plugs for connecting the cups separately.
