Campfire Audio has unveiled the Campfire Audio Andromeda 10, a new flagship in-ear monitor (IEM) designed to celebrate the company’s tenth anniversary. First shown at CanJam SoCal 2025, the new in-ear headphones build on the success of the original Andromeda from 2016. A special anniversary edition will also be released, limited in quantity.
Campfire Audio Anrdomeda 10: in-ear headphones with ten drivers per earbud
The original Andromeda quickly gained a reputation after its 2016 launch for its signature green finish, distinctive design, and balanced sound. Over the past decade, Campfire Audio has produced numerous special editions and tunings, but the Campfire Audio Andromeda 10 marks the biggest technical advancement yet: doubling the number of drivers and introducing improvements requested by the audiophile community, according to the manufacturer.
The Campfire Audio Andromeda 10 continues the company’s tradition of being hand-designed, assembled, and tested in Portland, Oregon. This focus on craftsmanship has been a hallmark of the brand since the company’s founding in 2015, with each model individually built and inspected before leaving the factory.
The Campfire Audio Andromeda 10 upgrades from its original five-driver configuration to ten custom-designed balanced armatures. Four drivers handle the bass, four the midrange, and two the treble. This configuration is designed to deliver enhanced clarity, greater dynamic range, and an extended frequency response for critical, high-level listening on the go.
For the first time at Campfire Audio, the Andromeda 10 uses 2-pin connectors. This change, based on direct feedback and comments from users, makes the earbuds compatible with a wide range of cables from different manufacturers, providing greater flexibility for enthusiasts seeking a personalized listening experience.
Campfire Audio Andromeda 10: Two Special Editions and a Classic Green Edition
To celebrate the anniversary, Campfire Audio is releasing two limited-edition Campfire Audio Andromeda 10 Special Editions. Each unit features a polished black PVD stainless steel housing with a Damascus steel lid and is available in black or gold finishes. Each unit is limited to 250 pairs worldwide and comes with a high-quality 7N OCC gold-plated copper cable.
In addition to the Special Editions, the Campfire Audio Andromeda 10 Classic Green is also available. This version retains the familiar anodized aluminum design that characterized the original Andromeda, but features a new driver array and technical improvements.
