Panasonic has rolled out the HC-VX3 and HC-V900 camcorders, which can shoot in Ultra HD 4K (25p/24p) and Full HD (24p/50p) resolutions, respectively. Both models feature an 8.57 MP sensor, delivering an effective video resolution of 6.17 MP (16:9) and photo resolutions of 8.29 MP/6.22 MP (16:9/4:3).
The HC-VX3 offers a wide 25mm angle in 4K, while both models provide a 28.9mm angle in 2K. They come with a 24x optical zoom lens and quick, precise autofocus to enhance video quality.

Additionally, these camcorders boast optical image stabilization through the HYBRID OIS system, featuring 5-axis correction and a Ball OIS system for smoother footage. Active Contrast technology steps in during low-light situations, making images clearer. Both camcorders come with USB-C, a remote control port, a comfy grip for one-handed shooting, and a wind-resistant zoom mic. The monitor is a 3-inch LCD with touch capabilities and a resolution of 1,555,000 pixels, which is a big upgrade from Panasonic’s earlier VX1 and V800 models from 2018.

With the HC-VX3 model, you can edit 4K videos right on the device without needing a computer and save them in Full HD. You can make adjustments after filming, like zooming, stabilizing shaky footage, and tracking your main subject. It also includes timestamp recording and an audio line input, making it great for professional use. The 4K crop feature lets you crop to Full HD if zooming makes the image shaky or pushes subjects out of the frame. Both camcorder models work with a wired remote control.
