High End Vienna 2026 is the chosen location for the official launch of the Astell&Kern SP4000T digital audio player, the latest addition to the flagship A&ultima series, and the Clarus in-ear monitors.

Both models weigh under 23 kilograms and include a dedicated wall-mounting system engineered to maintain the precise distance needed for the passive radiator to operate correctly. REL has also developed an optional wheeled floor stand, allowing users to experiment with placement before committing to a final installation.

Wireless functionality is built directly into both models, and REL confirms compatibility with its AirShip Direct wireless transmission system. If you’re looking for the absolute best and want a single headset that can handle gaming, music, and everything in between at a very high level, the Nova Elite justifies its price.

The SteelSeries Arctis Nova Elite is easily one of the most impressive headsets I’ve tested.

It combines excellent sound quality, premium design, and a feature set that actually improves the experience in real use. Most importantly, it delivers a level of audio performance that goes beyond what you typically expect from a gaming headset.

Playing Battlefield 6 with it was a standout experience, and it’s rare that a headset makes that much of a difference.

It’s not for everyone, mainly because of the price, but if you want the best, this is very close to it.

The new in-ear monitor (IEM) is named after the legendary Chinese craftsman Lu Ban, and according to Noble Audio, the physical design reflects precision in construction and respect for materials. The earbuds are made from a combination of Cocobolo wood, selected for its structural stability and distinctive grain pattern, with a highly precise 3D-printed internal resin frame. According to Noble Audio, this guarantees accurate driver placement and consistent acoustic geometry in every unit.

The Lu Ban features a configuration with three drivers per earbud, consisting of a dynamic driver with a 10 mm wood composite diaphragm, coupled with two newly developed Super-Magnetic planar drivers. This combination has a sensitivity of 108 dB SPL/mW and an impedance of 27 Ohms, thereby the designers deliver power, speed, and refinement across a wide range of sources.

The dynamic driver with a 10 mm wood composite diaphragm should provide the Lu Ban with a deep, controlled, and detailed bass response. Noble states that the sub-bass extends confidently without reverb, while the mid-bass remains clear and balanced. Additionally, the company claims that voices sound natural and full, while acoustic instruments retain their natural reverb and weight.

The planar drivers utilize a supermagnetic architecture featuring a new generation of ultra-high magnetic energy neodymium-iron-boron material. This advanced magnetic circuit design apparently ensures a faster transient response, better rendering of micro-details, and improved precision in the higher frequency range. The specified frequency range extends from 5 Hz to 20 kHz.

The Dorpo DMP-A1 (DMP = Digital Music Player) wants a spot on a desk or in an audio cabinet with an attractive combination of powerful music streamer, digital audio player, DA converter, preamplifier, and headphone amplifier. The device offers lossless playback up to 32-bit/768 kHz and supports FLAC, WAV, APE, and MQA decoding, as well as DSD files up to DSD512 (native), including DSF, DFF, SACD ISO, and DST.

There is also support for common streaming services such as Tidal, Spotify, Qobuz, Apple Music, Amazon Music, and Highresaudio. Furthermore, the DMP-A1 is Roon Ready and is compatible with Tidal Connect, Spotify Connect, Qobuz Connect, AirPlay, DLNA, and Bluetooth (Qualcomm QCC5181). However, not everything is available yet; some features are still in the pipeline and will be added later via wireless firmware updates as certification progresses.

It also ensures that the DMP-A1 automatically adapts to global mains voltage standards. As a result, manual adjustment of the input voltage is no longer necessary.
