Samsung has launched its largest OLED TV, the 82.5-inch Samsung QN83S90C from the S90C series. The TV is estimated by Samsung at $5,400 and will go on sale this month.

The Samsung QN83S90C is based on LG’s 10-bit OLED matrix with a 16:9 aspect ratio, 3840 × 2160 resolution support and a dynamic refresh rate of 48 to 120 Hz. The screen claims a 0.1ms response time, 100% coverage of the DCI-P3 color space, and support for HDR10, HLG, HDR10+, HDR10+ Adaptive, HDR10+ Gaming, and Quantum HDR modes.

The Samsung QN83S90C uses a quad-core Neural Quantum Processor 4K, which supports various AI features to improve image quality. The TV is running the operating system Tizen 7.0. The manufacturer claims support for AMD FreeSync Premium Pro image synchronization technology, Alexa, Bixby and Google Assistant voice assistants for the TV, and also indicates the integration of Xbox and Samsung Gaming Hub cloud gaming services.

The TV is equipped with a 40 W 2.1-channel sound system, received one USB Type-A downstream port (HDD 5 V, 1 A), two USB 2.0 Type-A downstream ports (5 V, 0.5 A), four HDMI 2.1, connector LAN, as well as support for DLNA, Wi-Fi 5, W-Fi Direct and Bluetooth 5.2. In addition, the TV is equipped with a VESA 400 x 300 mount, which allows you to install the TV on a wall bracket.

The Samsung QN83S90C TV comes with a SolarCell Remote equipped with a solar battery, a microphone for calling a voice assistant, as well as separate buttons for launching streaming video services Netflix, Disney +, Samsung TV Plus and Amazon Prime Video.
