Universal Pictures has unveiled the first official trailer for Nobody 2, the highly anticipated sequel to the 2021 action hit, with Bob Odenkirk reprising his role as the lethal yet reluctant hero, Hutch Mansell.
This time, Hutch is trying to enjoy a peaceful resort vacation with his family—until their getaway is violently interrupted by a ruthless gang, forcing him back into action. The sequel promises more high-octane combat and dark humor as it delves deeper into Hutch’s internal struggle between living a quiet family life and embracing his past as a deadly operative.
Joining Odenkirk in the cast are Sharon Stone, Connie Nielsen, and Christopher Lloyd, adding even more star power to the explosive sequel.
Directed by Indonesian filmmaker Timo Tjahjanto—known for the thriller Out of the Shadows—Nobody 2 looks to build on the gritty, stylized action that made the original a cult favorite. The first film was a sleeper hit, earning $57.5 million worldwide on a modest $16 million budget, and garnering a devoted fanbase in the process.
Nobody 2 is set to hit international theaters on August 15, and if the trailer is anything to go by, fans can expect an adrenaline-fueled ride that blurs the line between family man and contract killer.
