Leak: Assassin’s Creed mobile gameplay set in Ancient China

During the September presentation of Ubisoft Forward , several projects in the Assassin’s Creed franchise were announced at once . One of them was Codename: Jade , which is being developed for mobile devices. So far , Ubisoft has released only one trailer, but now the gameplay of an early version of the game has appeared on the Web.

At the moment, the action is at the initial stage of production, but the shown build already looks impressive. On the recording of Codename: Jade did not freeze, and the animations of battles and parkour were performed at the highest level.

The video captures the battle on the Great Wall of China. A hero named Danlin Bai helps repel the attack of the Mohists, followers of the ancient Chinese philosophical school, which tried to improve society through knowledge. Reminds me of the Templars?

The assassin Wei Yu also got into the frame – Ezio finds his sarcophagus at the Auditore Villa in the second part of Assassin’s Creed . Recall that Wei Yu earned the title of great assassin, as he killed Qin Shi Huang, the first emperor of China. Perhaps the Codename: Jade plot will go into more detail about this.

The game doesn’t have a release date yet. During the presentation, the developers shared that gamers will be able to create their own character in  Codename: Jade .
