Line Magnetic has introduced the LM-300IA, a new single-ended integrated amplifier that incorporates a range of premium tubes, notably the 300B power tubes. This meticulously crafted amplifier is equipped with custom-designed transformers and includes a bias control system with an accurate built-in current meter.

An essential factor in achieving optimal sound quality from a tube amplifier is the careful selection of various tubes. Line Magnetic emphasizes this with their LM-300IA model, which features a meticulously chosen combination: it incorporates two PSVANE 300Bs for the output stage, along with Electro Harmonix ECC81 and two Tungsol 6SL7GXTs for the input stage, and two LINLAI 274Bs for the driver stage.
Additionally, the LM-300IA is outfitted with custom-designed, high-quality toroidal transformers for the power supply, as well as two wide-band EI output transformers. To minimize mutual interference, all transformers and capacitors are individually encapsulated and installed within the amplifier. The LM-300IA operates in Class A mode to deliver the highest sound quality possible.
The user has access to three pairs of line inputs for connecting various audio sources. Additionally, there is a power amplifier input, allowing the LM-300IA to function solely as a power amplifier. For enhanced bass performance, a subwoofer output (RCA) is included.
To ensure optimal compatibility between the amplifier and speakers, separate outputs for 4, 8, and 16 Ohms are provided. The quiescent current can be accurately adjusted for ideal tube performance using the built-in current meter. Volume control is managed through a premium ALPS potentiometer, which can also be operated via an IR remote.
Each LM-300IA is meticulously hand-assembled with point-to-point wiring and soldering. The elegant cabinet features a classic piano lacquer finish. The valuable tubes are safeguarded by a full metal cage, which can be easily removed for adjustments to the quiescent current or for tube replacement.
The dimensions of the unit are 435 x 217 x 365 millimeters (W x H x D), and it has a weight of 34 kilograms. The frequency response ranges from 10 Hz to 50 kHz, with a power output of 10 watts RMS per channel.
