The Master 10 MK2 uses a durable aluminum alloy chassis to prevent transformer eddy currents from affecting audio circuits. Thus, the internal structure of the Master 10 MK2 is divided into two sections by aluminum plates. The AC power cable is also shielded.
Vibrations are also taken into account to promote the best sound reproduction. Each amplification channel is located under a 5mm thick aluminum plate, which not only effectively dissipates heat, but also avoids vibration.
This Master 10 MK2 is equipped with no less than 4 transformers including 2 R-Cores for a total power of 1500 W, 140.000uF of very high class capacitors and 24 very high performance ON Semiconductor transistors for the output stage.
This amplifier is also designed based on a purely symmetrical discrete ACSS circuit, with a separate power supply to avoid any interference or electromagnetic disturbance of the signal.
The volume control is also optimized, with 4 channels and 99 steps, digitally controlled by relays to avoid channel balance problems and improve sound quality.
A special feature of the amplifier is that all its active components are always in a state of conduction. They fully amplify the input signal, thereby limiting harmonic distortion in the output signal. Therefore, the Master 10 MK2’s output signal is of superior quality due to the absence of the famous sine wave transition distortion. Its gain and preamp stages operate in Class A, using discrete components, with no PDO or coupling capacitor in the signal path.
